   Computer preparation for a computer that you bought used. A scam that is becoming more prevalent is to sell a used computer with hidden programs on it that the original seller can monitor, possibly gaining your personal information.

Did your notebook screen go blank but the computer still seems like it's running? Shine a light into the screen and see if the screen shows up. If so, you probably have a bulb that needs replaced.

Are you about to loose your personal files like pictures and such? Have you been told your hard drive is bad and the information can't be saved? I can usually save it. If I can't save it, I won't charge you.

Is your computer not booting up? It gets so far and continues to restart? Chances are, you lost power while it was still running or you did a "hard" shut down without going thru the process of letting the computer shut down normally. I can repair the damage and get it going again.

"Max knows is stuff ladies and gentlemen.  I bought a  'custom built' computer from another 'company' on CL.  Those guys were jokers.  They sold me a horribly built computer for 250.00!  It was all kinds of gerry rigged and didn't work nearly like it should.  I took it to Max and he got it to where it should be for minimal cost.  Max is a straight shooter and will not give you the run around.  I've been back to have my other computers worked on.  I am totally stoked with my computer and Max at Pain in the PC.   I highly recommend Max if you want a no bull, reasonably price, friendly experience.  Thanks Maxl.  You rock man!!!!"
